Scripture Of The Week
Ether 12:4
“Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God.”
Hope is the bridge. Faith begins it. Christ completes it.
Main Reflection
Hope is not passive. Hope builds. It connects what is broken to what is promised. Like a rainbow after a storm, it does not erase what happened — it shows what is still possible.
This week stands between Conference and Easter — between what we heard and what we live. Hope is what carries those words into our homes, our choices, and our relationships.
Jesus Christ did not wait for perfect conditions to minister. He tended — constantly. He withdrew when needed. He returned when called. He gave when prompted.
Our Eternal Father in Heaven tends with order and purpose. The Holy Ghost tends with quiet reminders, comfort, and truth.
So we do the same. We tend our spirit so we do not react in anger. We tend our homes so peace has somewhere to live. We tend relationships so they do not break under pressure.
Hope is built in these small moments: one kind word, one pause, one prayer, one choice to expect good instead of assume harm.
That is the bridge. That is how we cross.
